Welcome to Pittstown Fire Online!
We are a rural Fire Department in upstate
New York. We are in Eastern Rensselaer County about 21 miles
from Albany (the state capital). We service a community of
approximately 5,700 people.

 We
run a variety of calls per year from Structure fires to Search and
Rescue. We are mostly a rural area but we have NY Route 7 running
through the center of our district. This is the main east/west
connection between Albany NY and Bennington VT. Thousands of cars travel
this road each week which can make life interesting.
